Saturday, December 19 - Steak Club ladies night. I decided to bring Kyle instead of my mother because she really isn't a big eater and Kyle loves steak. Whoops! Guess I shouldn't have brought him because he is not a lady??? I made my reservations and told them I was bringing someone. What difference does it make? I was thrilled that he was there. This is one of those situations where I really don't care what anyone thinks. To share time with my son is worth it.
After Steak Club I drove Kyle home then went to the Mount Carmel Christmas party held at Kevin Farnsworths house. It wasn't as lively as last year but Rob seemed to disagree with my Karaoke singing again. I think I do an alright job and have gotten many compliments. Why he does this I will never know. After one song he literally screamed, "Boooooooo!!" I finally spoke up and said on the microphone, "You are welcome to try if you think you can do better." He ended up singing (if you can call it that) which I commented, "Oh yeah, you're much better."
I ended up leaving at 1:03 because the snow started and quite a few inches were predicted.
Sunday, December 20 - Went over and snowblowed my mother's driveway then to Golden Fleece rehearsal. Ended up making lasagna since everyone was shoveling snow.
Monday, December 21 - Golden Fleece Lodge ladies night. Again another wonderful night. We did a second degree while the ladies played Bingo. Mike Horan is now a Fellowcraft. Wonderful meal but I never got my dessert and they ran out of potatoes.
That's it. I will update my thoughts of Christmas day later.
Peace to all.

Whoops!
So much for updating my blog. Oh well time to try and update from what happened since the last time.
Friday, December 11 - went out to lunch at Manderin Danvers buffet for my birthday and of course had to share it with David because his birthday is 12/11. Good lunch as usual.
Saturday, December 12 - What a day! Mount Carmel Pancake Breakfast with Kyle in the morning then off to the Cape for the Cunningham & Woodland Christmas party. What a beautiful house Bruce has. A fireplace in the kitchen. One of my dreams! Everyone ends up in the kitchen anyways!! It wasn't too bad. Got home about 1:00.
Sunday, December 13 - Mount Carmel rehearsal at night.
Monday, December 14 - Mount Carmel Lodge. It was a ladies night and I brought mom and loved the fact that Kyle agreed to go too. Had a good night. Kyle drove Gogo home and then I drove Kyle home. Decided to go back to the lodge and help clean up and have some fun.
Wednesday, December 16 - Tonight should have been Jordan Lodge night being held in Lynn Masonic apartments but Kyle had his winter concert and I didn't want to miss it. I am glad I didn't because he seemed to be involved in everything. If he wasn't singing or playing in the band he was working the spotlights.
Thursday, December 17 - Had a Masonic wake tonight. I was asked to be the Chaplain. Herb Fench was the Master and one of the deceased masonic friends was the marshal. Adam and I went to Fantasy Island afterwards for Mai Tais.
That's enough for now. This updates one week. I'll do another post for the next week.

Where Do I Begin?
I guess I need to start somewhere. The best place to start is to count my blessings. First and foremost the best blessing I have in life is the fact that I have such a fantastic son. I enjoy his company and love watching him as he experiences his life through music. I have tried my best to get him as many instruments as I could and I think it has paid off. If there is an instrument around he can play it.
I am blessed to have the ability to keep myself busy. I am always fitting in too many activities but feel that we are on this earth to enjoy our lives and we should make that happen. There are so many reality T.V. shows delving into others lives. As I explain to everyone: "I don't want to sit and watch other peoples exciting lives I want to get out there and make my own life exciting!" I will try to update my blog as much as possible. If you want to read I am trilled. If you decide that you don't want to read it that is okay. I have gotten to the point in my life that small things like that do not upset me. Life is too short to be worrying all the time.
Okay. That is enough for now. Until the next time.
Peace!
